Mary Jean married Ernest C. "Dick" Turley on October 1, 1937 at the family home in Biggsville. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1964

Surviving are one sister Roxana Lox of Oquawka, and two brothers, Randy Tracy and Kathy of Oquawka and Rex Tracy of Burlington, Iowa. Three nephews and one niece also survive. Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother and one infant sister
