He is the son of Harold H. "Shorty" and Bessie Bradfield Tracy

Died at his residence on April 29, 2008

Rex was reared in Henderson County and attended local Henderson County schools, graduating from Union High School. Rex served his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1974

Surviving are one sister Roxana Lox of Oquawka, and one brothers, Randy Tracy and Kathy of Oquawka. Three nephews and one niece also survive. Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers and one infant sister.
