BROWN - At his residence near Warren, September 17, 1888, Joseph Brown aged 68 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Deceased was born in New York and came to Illinois in 1835.

In 1864 he enlisted in the 16th Ill Infantry, CO F. Came home at the close of the war, and has ever since resided near Warren.

He was a member of the M.E. church and leaves a wife and nine children.
