Died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

married Emma D. Morey on August 5, 1954. She died August 7, 1971.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Turnball Funeral Home, Monmouth, IL

Surviving are four son, Clyde Gilbert Ives, CA, Lloyd C. Ives, Keithsburg, IL, Harold R. Ives, Long Beach, CA, Kenneth R. Ives, Collinsville, IL.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Davenport, and Mrs. Blanche Ruberg, both of Oquawka, IL. Seven grandchildren, Larry Ives, Aledo, Linda (Ives) Holland, Costa Rica, Kay (Ives) McCormick, Centralia, IL, Gene Ives, KY, Judi (Ives) Lesher, CA, Sharon (Ives) Granite City, IL and Gary Ives, CA; 15 great-grandchildren
