I can not post this whole Obit here, but will post the important information.
Born Feb. 23, 1908 in Disco Illinois

Died ? No date on the clipping-it just states that the funeral service was April 4. My guess from the
others would be between 1969 and 1970
married Mrs. Ruby Dowell October 22, 1938 at Lomax
Survivors include his wife Ruby, two sons; John Gittings of Biggsville and Charles, at home, and one
daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Diana) James, also of Oquawka. Also surviving are four grandchildren, his mother
of Dallas City, a brother, Loy and three sisters; Mrs. Alberta Dickson of Burlington, Ia., Mrs.
Christina Pence of Hamilton and Mrs. Marie Uhls of Indianapolis Ind.
